## Description

**Job brief**

We are looking for a **Senior Frontend Engineer** to join our Engineering team and build high-quality, scalable web and mobile applications. You will own and ship features across multiple production applications used by real customers, while contributing to architecture decisions, engineering best practices, and the continuous improvement of our frontend development standards.

You will work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and other Engineering teams to create responsive, performant, and accessible user experiences using modern frontend technologies.

What You'll Work On

-   Own and deliver frontend features across multiple production applications, including admin dashboards, customer-facing platforms, real-time communication tools, and CMS-powered websites.
-   Design and develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable frontend components.
-   Contribute to frontend architecture and make technical decisions that improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
-   Build rich, responsive, and accessible user experiences across different products and platforms.
-   Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate requirements and designs into high-quality user experiences.
-   Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, rendering issues, and frontend bugs.
-   Contribute to and maintain UI frameworks, component libraries, and frontend development standards.
-   Write meaningful automated tests and promote a strong testing culture.
-   Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices.
-   Work across multiple codebases and product domains while maintaining consistent engineering standards.
-   Leverage AI development tools to improve productivity, debugging, code reviews, and delivery.

## Requirements

-   **4+ years** of professional frontend development experience.
-   Strong expertise in **React and Next.js**, including App Router, SSR, and React Server Components.
-   Strong understanding of React internals, including reconciliation, Fiber architecture, rendering lifecycle, hooks execution order, and the Virtual DOM.
-   Deep understanding of React Hooks, including appropriate usage and common pitfalls such as stale closures, unnecessary effects, and dependency array issues.
-   Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, including experience with React DevTools, performance profiling, stack traces, and production performance issues.
-   Strong proficiency in **TypeScript** and experience building type-safe applications.
-   Strong understanding of modern CSS approaches and experience with technologies such as **Tailwind CSS, CSS-in-JS, or design systems**.
-   Experience with modern state management and data-fetching patterns, such as **Zustand, Redux Toolkit, and React Query**.
-   Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, including memoization, bundle analysis, lazy loading, and rendering optimization.
-   Experience writing meaningful automated tests using tools such as **Vitest and React Testing Library**.
-   Experience implementing **internationalization (i18n)** in production applications.
-   Comfortable working across multiple products, codebases, and technical domains.
-   Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence technical decisions and explain complex concepts clearly.
-   Comfortable incorporating **AI tools** into the software development workflow for code generation, debugging, code reviews, and productivity.

### Nice to Have

-   Experience working with **audio/media APIs**, such as WaveSurfer.js.
-   Familiarity with **headless CMS platforms**, such as Strapi.
-   Experience developing real-time features using **WebSockets or Socket.io**.
-   Experience contributing to **component libraries or design systems**.
-   Experience with **shadcn/ui** and accessible component development.
-   Experience working on SaaS or technology products.
