## Description

**Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month**

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Accounts Receivable Clerk for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa, owning invoicing and getting customers paid on time.

### Role overview

You will keep cash flowing in. You will raise invoices, record payments, chase overdue balances politely and keep the debtors ledger accurate for a UK business.

### Key responsibilities

-   Raise and send customer invoices and credit notes
-   Allocate customer payments and reconcile the ledger
-   Chase overdue accounts by email and phone
-   Prepare debtor ageing reports
-   Resolve invoice queries with customers and colleagues

### What you'll need

-   Experience in accounts receivable, debtors or credit control
-   Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
-   Strong Excel skills and numeracy
-   Clear, professional written English
-   Attention to detail and reliability

### Nice to have

-   Experience with UK VAT invoicing
-   Familiarity with Stripe or GoCardless
-   Experience with month-end close
