Softeta is looking for a **QA Automation Engineer** to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of automated testing activities and work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications.

You will contribute to the development of scalable test automation solutions, investigate complex issues, and help improve testing processes across the software development lifecycle.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript;
-   Take ownership of test automation activities within assigned projects or product areas;
-   Analyse requirements, define test scenarios, and ensure appropriate test coverage;
-   Investigate test failures, identify root causes, document defects, and communicate findings clearly;
-   Collaborate with developers and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle;
-   Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to improving test automation standards and practices..

## Requirements

-   At least 2 years of experience in software testing, including strong hands-on experience in test automation;
-   Practical experience with an automated testing framework, preferably Playwright;
-   Good working knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript;
-   Experience designing, maintaining, and improving automated test suites;
-   Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version-control systems such as Git;
-   Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot;
-   Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned testing activities.
