## Description

A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking experienced **Consultant / Specialist Orthopedic Surgeons** to join its expanding orthopedic department.

The successful candidates will provide comprehensive orthopedic care, including the diagnosis and surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions, trauma, degenerative disorders, sports injuries, fractures, and joint-related conditions. ### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage a broad range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
-   Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgical procedures as appropriate.
-   Manage fractures, trauma, joint disorders, sports injuries, and degenerative conditions.
-   Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.
-   Perform pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative follow-up.
-   Work closely with radiology, anesthesia, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and other specialties.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
-   Ensure high standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and evidence-based practice.
-   Contribute to the development of orthopedic services within the organization.

## Requirements

-   MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery.
-   Candidates with **UK CCT / FRCS, American Board, Australian Board / FRACS, South African specialist qualification**, or equivalent internationally recognized credentials are encouraged to apply.
-   Strong post-specialist clinical and surgical experience.
-   Proven expertise in managing orthopedic cases independently.
-   Experience in a hospital or tertiary healthcare environment preferred.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-   Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
-   Subspecialty expertise such as Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine, Spine, Trauma, or Pediatric Orthopedics will be an advantage.
