## Description

Loomer is looking for a creative and detail-oriented **Conceptual Artist / Graphic Artist** to develop professional product concepts, artwork and realistic visual mock-ups based on customer requirements.

The successful candidate will transform customer ideas, logos, artwork and job briefs into visually appealing concepts that accurately represent the intended finished product.

This role requires more than simply creating attractive artwork. The Conceptual Artist must understand customer expectations, apply strong design principles, make informed creative decisions and ensure that concepts are practical and suitable for production.

The ideal candidate will combine **creative design ability, commercial awareness, technical artwork knowledge and strong attention to detail** while working effectively within required turnaround times.

## Requirements

### **Requirements**

-   Interpret customer requirements from job briefs, logos, artwork and supporting information.
-   Develop professional conceptual artwork and realistic product mock-ups.
-   Transform customer ideas into clear, visually appealing product concepts.
-   Apply strong typography, visual hierarchy, layout, spacing and composition principles.
-   Produce multiple design or concept options where appropriate.
-   Create realistic product visualisations using correct perspective, proportion, scale and shape.

### **Software skills**

**CorelDRAW**

-   Primary design and artwork platform.
-   Used for conceptual artwork, layouts, product visualisation and production-related design work.

**Adobe Illustrator**

-   Supporting vector design software.
-   Used for vector artwork, logos and supporting design requirements.

**Adobe Photoshop**

-   Used for image editing, visual presentation and supporting product mock-ups.

### Experience & Qualifications

-   Relevant qualification in **Graphic Design or a related field** is preferred.
-   Professional experience in **conceptual artwork, graphic design or a related creative role**.
-   Portfolio demonstrating:

-   Conceptual thinking.
-   Branding.
-   Layout design.
-   Product visualisation.

-   Previous experience working to deadlines in a customer-focused environment.
-   Practical experience using CorelDRAW is highly advantageous.
-   Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is preferred.
