## Description

**About the Company**

Ajaia is a rapidly growing AI consultancy and product studio dedicated to helping organizations move from experimentation to real results. We operate across four core pillars: AI Strategy and Advisory, AI Engineering and Automation, Workforce Training and Enablement, and Custom Product Development.

In addition to client services, Ajaia builds proprietary AI products, copilots, and vertical solutions that solve high-value industry problems. This dual model allows us to translate hands-on implementation experience into scalable products while continuously refining our approach through real-world deployment.

Our operating model combines deep technical execution with practical change management, enabling enterprises to deploy secure, compliant, and high-impact solutions that drive measurable operational value. From executive roadmapping to production-ready systems and workforce upskilling, Ajaia embeds intelligent tools directly into the workflows that matter most.

Mission: Help organizations win the AI moment.

**Position Overview**

Ajaia is hiring an Information Security Analyst to monitor, assess, and improve the company's security posture across cloud infrastructure, internal systems, and compliance programs. You will work hands-on with security tools, cloud configurations, and compliance requirements to protect company and client data.

This role covers the full security lifecycle: monitoring and detection, vulnerability management, access control enforcement, compliance support (HIPAA, SOC 2), and incident response. The company runs a multi-cloud environment (GCP and Azure) and operates across regulated industries, so you need to be comfortable with both technical security work and compliance documentation.

This is not a watch-the-dashboard role. You will investigate alerts, validate controls, conduct assessments, manage access reviews, and support audit preparation. The company is AI-first, and you are expected to use AI tools to analyze logs, automate reporting, and accelerate your daily work.

We expect candidates to use AI in daily workflows across research, ideation, drafting, design iteration, quality checks, and delivery acceleration. AI fluency is a core execution requirement, not optional tooling.

## Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 2–4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Information security and security operations
- Security monitoring, detection, and incident response
- Vulnerability management and assessment
- IT security and access management
- Compliance support (HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar frameworks)

- Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms (GCP and/or Azure)
- Working knowledge of security fundamentals: IAM, encryption, network security, and endpoint protection
- Experience administering identity and access controls (SSO, MFA, RBAC) and conducting periodic access reviews
- Ability to monitor security events, investigate alerts, and support incident detection, response, and post-incident analysis
- Experience conducting or supporting vulnerability assessments and coordinating remediation
- Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks, including evidence collection and control documentation
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, fully remote, distributed environment
- Proficiency with AI tools in daily work

**Preferred Requirements:**

- Relevant certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, GSEC, SSCP, or equivalent
- Experience with SIEM platforms or security monitoring and alerting tools (Splunk, Datadog, Chronicle, or similar)
- Scripting ability for automation (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Background in vulnerability management, penetration testing coordination, or threat analysis
- Experience supporting vendor security assessments and data processing reviews
- Experience managing or configuring endpoint protection and device security tools
- Background in healthcare, financial services, or other regulated environments
- Experience with security awareness training or internal security education programs
- Familiarity with GDPR or other regional data protection regulations

## Benefits

- Base salary: Approximately $25,000–$32,000 USD per year (calibrated for target regions).
- Performance bonus: Opportunity to earn up to 100% of base salary in performance-based bonuses.
- Salary and total compensation depend on experience, location, and demonstrated performance during the hiring process.
