## Description

A well-established academic healthcare organization is seeking a **fellowship-trained, Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Geriatric Psychiatrist** to join a growing psychiatry and behavioral health division. This position offers a balanced mix of **clinical care, teaching, and academic involvement** within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

## Requirements

### **General Job Requirements**

-   Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for **geriatric patients**
-   Manage care across **inpatient, outpatient, and consultative settings**
-   Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers
-   Participate in **teaching medical students, residents, and/or fellows**
-   Engage in **program development, quality improvement, and/or research activities**
-   Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
-   Adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards
-   MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
-   Completion of **psychiatry residency**
-   Completion of **fellowship training in Geriatric Psychiatry** (preferred or required depending on role)
-   Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
-   Eligible for or able to obtain **state medical licensure**
-   Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
-   Interest in academic medicine, teaching, or program development (preferred)
-   Ability to work effectively in a **team-based, multidisciplinary environment**
