### Key Responsibilities

-   Prepare, cook, and present meals according to prescribed menus and dietary guidelines.
-   Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
-   Monitor food quality and consistency to maintain high standards.
-   Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies.
-   Collaborate with dietary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
-   Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
-   Assist in menu planning and recipe development as needed.

## Requirements

-   Previous cooking experience, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting.
-   Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures.
-   Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions accurately.
-   Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
-   Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties.
-   Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
-   Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
