## Description

Real opportunities. Real impact. Your career, redefined.

At Oceans, we believe that talent knows no boundaries. That’s why we connect the best and brightest professionals with career-defining opportunities that challenge, inspire, and accelerate their career growth.

This role focuses on our **Revenue Programs and Sales team**: making sure we are running at peak performance, building the right processes to scale, and keeping leadership focused on strategy and coaching toward our north star revenue targets.

As a **Chief of Staff - Revenue Operations,** you are the force multiplier for the Head of Revenue Operations. You own the daily intelligence layer so leadership can operate from insight rather than spend time assembling it. You are the connective tissue between reps, data, and strategy, and your single most important contribution is continuous risk identification: making sure nothing slips, nothing surprises, and the right context reaches leadership before it becomes a problem.

### Accountability

You will have the below primary areas of focus, with the expectation that you will be measured on your ability to keep the Revenue Operations team aligned, informed, and moving towards our growth initiatives. That means:

- Owning the daily intelligence briefing: consolidating pipeline activity, rep performance, and risk signals across all data sources into a single morning view so leadership starts every day operating from insight, not assembly.
- Identifying and flagging pipeline anomalies, at-risk deals, and high-priority entrants with enough context for leadership to act rather than investigate.
- Monitoring SLA and timeline adherence by rep and by segment, surfacing drift before it compounds.
- Translating departmental goals into projects, plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Building and maintaining the processes and SOPs that allow the department to operate without the Head of Revenue Operations serving as the system of record.
- Preparing leadership for rep 1:1s and deal reviews with deal-level context so coaching time is spent on strategy, not status reconstruction.
- Supporting the development and refinement of outbound and channel messaging across all segments and lead sources, including industry and persona analysis as requested.
- Tracking special projects and priorities for the Head of Revenue Operations using project management tooling.
- Acting as the voice of the Head of Revenue Operations in internal meetings when needed.

### Colleagues

Your primary partner is the Head of Revenue Operations, who you will support directly as their strategic right hand. You will also work closely with:

- The sales team across new business and account expansion, to track deals, timelines, and rep-level performance.
- Marketing, to define channel handoffs and ensure campaign alignment across the full revenue motion.
- Integration Success, when new opportunity flags, handoff quality, or client health signals require cross-functional alignment.
- Talent Acquisition and Training, making sure feedback loops between reps, placements, and internal teams stay tight.
- Leadership, when revenue insights or forecasting need to be surfaced at the company level.

This role reports to **Ben Lundberg, Head of Revenue Operations.**

### Skills and Qualifications

At Oceans, we believe in T-shaped individuals—those who bring deep expertise in one area, paired with broad curiosity and interests. As a Chief of Staff - Revenue Operations, your vertical focus will be in intelligence: synthesizing data, surfacing risk, and making sure leadership is always operating from a clear picture, while your horizontal focus will  extend into sales operations, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

- Deep experience in operations or strategic project management is preferred. Exposure to a sales environment and familiarity with revenue vocabulary is a very strong plus.
- Strong hands-on skills with HubSpot or similar CRM: reports, dashboards, automations, and data management.
- Proven experience creating and maintaining SOPs and process playbooks.
- Comfortable synthesizing multiple data sources, tracking pipeline health, and surfacing rep-level performance insights. Ease with basic quantitative analysis and percentage-based math a plus.
- Sharp instincts for risk identification: identifying problems early and escalating with the right context so leadership can act decisively.
- Working familiarity with AI tools and workflows sufficient to support and enhance day-to-day operations.
- Excellent communicator: able to draft executive-level updates, run meetings, and represent leadership.
- Strong organizational instincts with a track record of keeping leaders focused and nothing falling through the cracks.

During the interview process, please be prepared to speak to and showcase your experience and skills in these areas:

- **Operationalize Intelligence:** Can you take disparate data sources and produce a single, clear, actionable briefing for leadership?
- **Deep Listening:** Do you hear what is said and what isn't? Do you know when to ask why one more time?
- **Data Storytelling:** Can you pull from a CRM and surface what actually matters, not just what is there?
- **Cross-Functional Awareness**: Do you understand how Sales connects to Marketing, Integration Success, Talent Acquisition, and organizational growth?
- **Problem Identification and Escalation:** Can you spot risk early, frame it clearly, and get it in front of the right person before it becomes a surprise?
- **Ownership and Follow-Through:** Can you track deals, projects, and priorities reliably so nothing gets dropped and no one is caught off guard?

Diversity of experience is core to Oceans. You are expected to work inclusively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, ensuring that both personal and collective dignity are supported.
