Role Overview

Role Overview As a Staff Mobile Engineer at Ajaib, you represent the highest level of technical authority and individual contribution in our mobile organization. You will architect high-performance, resilient mobile applications serving millions of users across stock trading, crypto, and banking verticals. You will set architectural standards, drive mobile infrastructure design, eliminate performance bottlenecks, and mentor senior engineers across the mobile discipline.

-   Architect, design, and scale high-performance, low-latency mobile client applications for high-frequency trading and fintech platforms.
-   Drive the mobile engineering roadmap, establishing architectural patterns, modularization frameworks, and core SDK libraries.
-   Optimize app rendering performance, minimize memory footprint, reduce APK/IPA size, and control battery/network consumption under intensive loads.
-   Design offline-first data synchronization, secure local storage encryption, and resilient network caching mechanisms.
-   Collaborate closely with backend architects, product leaders, and security teams to enforce end-to-end data safety and compliance.
-   Mentor senior engineers, lead technical reviews, and champion elite mobile engineering execution and craftsmanship.
-   Utilize AI tools critically with a "human-in-the-loop" framework to accelerate delivery without compromising code security or architecture integrity.

## Requirements

-   Experience: Minimum 7+ years of professional software development experience with at least 5+ years dedicated to advanced native or cross-platform mobile architecture (Android/Kotlin or iOS/Swift).
-   Architecture & Patterns: Deep expertise in clean architecture, modularization (feature modules), reactive programming, and state management at scale.
-   Performance Tuning: Proven track record of profiling memory leaks, rendering jank, thread blocking, and optimizing network serialization/deserialization.
-   Security & Storage: Extensive practical knowledge of secure local data storage (EncryptedSharedPreferences, Keychain/Keystore), certificate pinning, and obfuscation.
-   Concurrency & Asynchronous Programming: Master practitioner of coroutines, reactive streams, or advanced asynchronous operations handling high-frequency data streams (e.g., real-time WebSocket ticker updates).
-   Mindset: Exceptional autonomy, technical leadership, and an obsession with software craftsmanship and user experience.
