## Description

Miami Family Law Group is seeking a Junior Associate Probate Litigation Attorney to support and manage probate, trust, and estate disputes under the guidance of experienced senior attorneys. This is a structured growth role for a developing Florida litigator who is ready for substantive work in a well-organized, well-supported practice.

You will assist with contested estate and trust matters involving fiduciary disputes, inheritance conflicts, undue influence claims, and high-conflict family dynamics. You will gain real litigation experience, direct client exposure, and the mentorship needed to grow toward independent case management in a complex and rewarding practice area.

**What You'll Own**

- Assigned probate, estate, and trust litigation matters with direct partner oversight and collaboration
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and related litigation documents under attorney supervision
- Court appearances for hearings and proceedings with senior attorney support
- Client communication and relationship management throughout each matter
- Legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other tools
- Your own professional development as you build toward independent litigation management

**What You'll Get**

- Structured mentorship from senior attorneys with deep probate and trust litigation experience
- Real casework from day one in a niche, high-value practice area
- Exposure to complex fiduciary disputes, contested estates, and trust litigation that most junior attorneys never see
- A clear path toward greater autonomy as your skills and courtroom confidence develop
- Paralegals and admin staff handling scheduling, document management, and deadline tracking
- Clio Manage and structured workflows so you spend time on legal work, not file management

**Responsibilities**

- Support and manage probate, estate, and trust litigation matters from start to finish with partner guidance
- Advise clients on case status, strategy, and next steps under attorney supervision
- Draft, review, and refine pleadings, motions, discovery, and related documents
- Represent clients in hearings, court proceedings, and negotiations with senior support
- Collaborate with the probate administration team when litigation matters overlap with active estate administration
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other tools
- Work closely with support staff to maintain organized files, meet deadlines, and move cases forward
- Identify legal and procedural issues early and escalate appropriately

## Requirements

- Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
- 3 to 5 years of Florida probate litigation or closely related litigation experience
- Some exposure to contested probate matters, trust disputes, hearings, or motion practice

- Strong legal writing, research, and client communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and receptive to mentorship and feedback
