**Overview**

Decision Analysis Services Limited (DAS) is an independent professional services company.  Since 2007 we have provided services globally to more than 200 client organisations within the energy, defence, government, transport, and health sectors. Based in offices from Glasgow to Sydney, we support clients across five continents.

We specialise in bridging the gap between strategic planning and operational execution, developing enduring solutions to the uniquely complex issues faced by our clients.  We are experts in programme management, systems thinking, investment modelling, machine learning, and data analysis. These unique skills, coupled with our extensive experience of engineering, regulatory practices and operations delivery enable us to develop sustainable, long-term solutions for our clients.

**The Role**

You will be instrumental in expanding our footprint across the UK’s rapidly growing civil nuclear sector. This senior, hands-on role blends strategic business development with delivery oversight and team development, offering you the opportunity to shape our civil nuclear growth strategy, steer the direction of the department, and directly support client programmes. This is not a hard sales role - it's about trusted relationship-building, opportunity shaping, and delivering lasting value through insight-led consulting.

You’ll operate with a high level of autonomy and influence, supporting the growth of the team and working alongside senior stakeholders to define where and how we grow.

Your key responsibilities will include:

·       Alongside the Practice Lead, shape and implement DAS’s business development strategy in the civil nuclear sector, identifying new opportunities and market entry points

·       Leverage your established network to build relationships, generate opportunities, and guide the firm’s market positioning

·       Spearheading client projects, applying your management consulting expertise across strategy, transformation, stakeholder engagement, and operations

·       Supporting a team of colleagues in their professional development

·       Lead development of client propositions and bids that combine insight, impact, and innovation

·       Collaborate with internal teams to align delivery capability with growth ambitions, ensuring sustainable scale-up

Apply to DAS if you want to work on varied, complex projects within a business that values your development, where no two days are alike, and where you’ll have a tangible impact on critical infrastructure in the UK.

## Requirements

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a mix of commercial acumen, management consulting expertise, and deep sector knowledge and enthusiasm. We’re looking for someone who blends strategic insight with credibility and influence in the civil nuclear space. We anticipate this role will be a good fit for a Principal Consultant or Managing Consultant looking for the next step in their career, where there is the opportunity to follow your interests and shape how and when the team grows. You might have a background in programme management, organisational design, business cases, strategy, operations improvement or similar, but most importantly you’ll have a consultancy toolkit that allows you to take on a wide range of client challenges.

You will bring:

·       Civil Nuclear Experience: likely 10+ years in the UK civil nuclear sector with strong knowledge of the ecosystem (new build, regulation, policy, infrastructure) and an influential industry network

·       Management Consulting Expertise: Experience delivering high-value programmes across strategy, transformation, or organisational design within regulated environments

·       Business Development Capability: Proven ability to identify, shape, and convert opportunities—not as a transactional sales lead, but as a trusted advisor

·       Stakeholder Confidence: Comfortable navigating complex environments involving government, regulators, and infrastructure partners, with outstanding relationship-building skills

·       Education: A degree in a STEM or business discipline is essential; a postgraduate qualification is desirable

**Don’t meet all the job requirements, but like the sound of us and the projects we work on? Get in touch anyway – we are always keen to hear from talented, solutions-led individuals at all career stages and might have the perfect role for you.**
