**The Role**

This is a 6-month, full-time paid internship. You will be reporting to Manager, Water Product and Operations and will provide program and operational support across data management, inventory monitoring, documentation, communication, and coordination activities. The role will involve supporting program monitoring and decision-making through accurate data and inventory records, maintaining digital trackers and databases, coordinating follow-ups across locations, and supporting documentation and field implementation activities.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while adapting to shifting priorities.

**Responsibilities**

**Program Data & MIS Support**

-   Clean, validate, and analyze program data to drive evidence-based decision-making.
-   Manage digital trackers and databases to maintain real-time accuracy across all records.
-   Develop routine monitoring reports, dashboards, and impact summaries.
-   Resolve data discrepancies by coordinating directly with field and program teams.

**ISW Inventory & Operations Support**

-   Support inventory management for India Safe Water program, tracking stock levels across national, state, and field locations to prevent stock-outs. 
-   Flag unusual inventory movements and coordinate replenishment requirements.
-   Perform periodic reconciliation to ensure physical stock aligns with digital records.

**Documentation & Communication**

-   Streamline program documentation, templates, and digital repositories.
-   Collaborate with teams to document key decisions, activities, and follow-up actions.

## Requirements

**Essential**

-   Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management or Social Work
-   Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-   Basic skills in data cleaning, analysis, and management using tools such as Excel or Google Sheets, in AI tools (Chatgpt, Claude, Gemini)
-   Ability to organize and maintain structured data, trackers, and digital records
-   Ability to create clear and visually appealing presentations and reports
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
-   Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
-   Willingness to travel (up to 10-15%) of the time for program support, if required

**Desirable**

-   Prior experience or coursework in water, sanitation, public health, development programs, operations, or supply chain management
-   Exposure to inventory management, stock monitoring, or procurement-related processes
-   Familiarity with data visualization or reporting tools such as Power BI, Google Data Studio, or Tableau
-   Experience working with databases, MIS platforms, or structured digital information systems
-   Experience in conducting fieldwork or working with rural communities

**Position Location**

**This role is based in New Delhi, India.** Applicants must be legally authorized to work in India for roles based in India. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time. 

**Stipend:** Competitive and commensurate with the individual's credentials and experience.
