## Description

**Disaster Care Capital**
Fully remote, UK business hours
Experience: 1–2 years in an admin, data or HR support role (or equivalent)

**About Us**

Disaster Care Capital is a fire and flood restoration company with over 15 years’ trading, based in London.

**The Role**

You’ll be the person who keeps our HR records accurate, current and easy to find. You’ll own our daily attendance reporting, keep employee data clean across our systems, and take routine admin off the HR team’s plate so they can focus on people.

The role also has a technical side. We use several online platforms, and we want to cut down on manual data entry. You’ll help by building simple automations, spreadsheet reports and dashboards, with guidance from the team. You don’t need to be an expert. You do need to be curious, careful and keen to learn.

The work is detail-heavy and quietly important. Payroll, scheduling and compliance all depend on the data being right, and you’ll be the one who makes sure it is.

**What You’ll Do**

Data entry and records

- Enter and update employee information accurately in our HR systems and spreadsheets
- Maintain digital employee files (contracts, right-to-work documents, onboarding paperwork, certifications), keeping them complete and well organised
- Check records regularly for errors, duplicates or missing information, and flag or correct them
- Handle personal data confidentially and in line with GDPR and company policy

Attendance and reporting

- Record and monitor daily attendance, including absences, lateness and leave
- Produce a daily attendance report and share it with HR and relevant managers
- Prepare weekly and monthly summaries and spot patterns such as repeated absence or lateness
- Flag missing clock-ins, incorrect clock-outs and other exceptions, and raise follow-up tasks for the right person
- Reconcile attendance data with holiday and sickness records and pass accurate figures to payroll

Simple automation and dashboards

- Build and maintain simple automated workflows using tools such as Zapier, Make.com or Power Automate, for example creating tasks in ClickUp, sending reminders or moving data between apps
- Set up basic automated alerts for things like missing documents or overdue actions
- Build and update spreadsheet or dashboard reports (Google Sheets, Excel or Looker Studio) covering attendance and other HR data

## Requirements

- Excellent written and spoken English (C1 or above), mandatory. You’ll be writing to colleagues and external parties in the UK
- Previous experience in an administrative, data entry, HR support or similar role
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a track record of catching errors others miss
- Fast, accurate data entry
- Confident with Excel or Google Sheets, and Outlook or Gmail. You pick up new systems quickly
- Some hands-on experience, even from personal or study projects, with a no-code automation tool (Zapier, Make.com, Power Automate or similar), or a real willingness to learn one
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude in your day-to-day work
- Highly organised, able to manage routine daily tasks reliably and meet deadlines, even on reduced hours
- Discretion and integrity with confidential information
- A clear communicator who asks good questions once, rather than the same question three times
- Able to work independently in a remote setting

**Nice to Have**

- Experience with HR software or an HRIS
- Familiarity with ClickUp or another task management tool
- Experience building simple reports or dashboards (Looker Studio, Power BI or advanced spreadsheets)
- Basic understanding of APIs or webhooks, or basic SQL, Python or JavaScript
- Basic understanding of UK employment practices and GDPR
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team
