## Description

We are currently seeking a Team Leader / Sr. Civil Engineer / Land Development for our Syracuse, NY office. This position is available to an experienced engineer or a project manager with the drive and desire to make an impact in the Syracuse Community. The individual will be responsible for leading design, planning, and scheduling. The successful candidate will provide leadership, mentorship, and design assistance to engineering staff for civil engineering and land development related projects. **Job Duties**

-   Recruit, develop, and manage staff to successfully complete and stamp large-scale Land Development projects.
-   Assist with business development in the Syracuse, NY region.
-   Engage in public outreach, business development, marketing, and client communication.
-   Review for quality assurance and control and ensure compliance with LaBella’s quality standards.
-   Participate in and facilitate meetings with stakeholders and clients.
-   Review and interpretation of local codes from various jurisdictions to determine regulatory requirements for site development.

**Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year**

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

## Requirements

-   B.S. degree in civil engineering.
-   15+ years of experience in the civil engineering field, with 3+ years managing staff.
-   Licensed professional engineer in New York required or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
-   Business development experience and network of clients preferred.
-   Possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a wide variety of projects.
-   Excellent verbal and written communications and analytical/problem solving skills are essential.
-   Must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff from various agencies.
-   Planning, organizing, scheduling and project management experience.
