## Description

We're looking for an **Engineering Manager** to lead and grow an existing RPA team while contributing directly as a hands-on backend engineer at an AI-native healthcare platform transforming home health and post-acute care delivery in the United States. This is a dual role. You will manage people and you will write code.

The team has active RPA development in flight and needs someone who can keep execution moving, mentor engineers, and personally contribute to landing integrations into existing products. If you have a strong Python backend background, have operated in a tech lead or management capacity before, and are comfortable being both a people manager and a productive engineer, this role is a strong fit.

### What You'll Work On

**Team Management and Engineering Leadership**

-   Manage and support the existing RPA engineering team day to day
-   Provide technical direction, code reviews, and mentorship across the team
-   Unblock engineers, manage priorities, and keep delivery on track
-   Contribute to hiring and growing engineering capacity over time

**Hands-On Backend Engineering**

-   Write production-quality Python code as an active contributor, not just a reviewer
-   Help land RPA integrations into existing product infrastructure
-   Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to scope and sequence technical work
-   Ensure integration quality, reliability, and maintainability across the codebase

**RPA Integration and Delivery**

-   Oversee and contribute to the development of RPA workflows and automation systems
-   Ensure automations are built to scale and integrate cleanly with existing platform components
-   Identify and resolve technical blockers across active RPA development efforts
-   Maintain engineering standards and best practices across the team

### What You Bring

-   Strong Python backend engineering experience with production system exposure
-   Prior experience in a tech lead, senior engineer, or engineering manager role
-   Ability to manage engineers while remaining a productive individual contributor
-   Comfort working across automation workflows, APIs, and backend integration work
-   Strong written and verbal communication skills for a remote, distributed team
-   Self-directed and able to operate effectively without heavy process or oversight

### Nice to Have

-   Hands-on RPA development experience with platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar
-   Background in healthcare technology, clinical workflows, or regulated environments
-   Experience integrating automation systems into existing SaaS or product infrastructure
-   Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools as part of your engineering workflow
