## Description

### 1\. POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide in-home therapy services for a 3-year-old child in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), Dubai. The primary objective is to support the child's motor development, independence in daily activities, and adaptive functioning through evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.

### 2\. LOCATION & WORK ARRANGEMENT

•       Location: Private residence, Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), Dubai, UAE

•       Service Type: In-home therapy

•       Session Duration: 45-60 minutes per session

•       Frequency: 3 times a week

### 3\. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

•       Master's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy

•       Professional registration/licensure with relevant regulatory body (or valid practice license in UAE)

•       Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric occupational therapy and motor development

•       Valid work visa/permit for the UAE

### 4\. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•       Conduct comprehensive assessment of fine and gross motor skills

•       Assess independence in activities of daily living (self-care, play, motor activities)

•       Develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plan

•       Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy sessions

•       Adapt home environment to support independence and safety

•       Monitor and document progress toward established goals

•       Teach family members adaptive techniques and compensation strategies

•       Prepare monthly progress reports

•       Collaborate with family and other professionals (if needed)

### 5\. ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES

•       Strong clinical expertise in pediatric occupational therapy

•       Knowledge of child development and motor milestones

•       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•       Ability to adapt therapeutic approach to family's cultural context

•       Flexibility with scheduling (late afternoon or Saturday sessions acceptable)

•       Professional conduct, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality

•       Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification (preferred)

### 6\. ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

•       Employment status: Independent contractor or employee (to be determined)

•       Current work visa/residency permit in UAE

•       Compensation: Competitive negotiable based on experience and qualifications
