## Description

Full of Life Recovery Center provides substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring disorder (COD) treatment at the PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels of care. We are committed to ethical, evidence-based, person-centered care delivered by a team that takes the work seriously. We are growing and looking for clinicians and operations professionals who bring both clinical competence and a strong work ethic.

Full of Life Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to support our clinical team and clients on a daily basis. BHTs are the operational backbone of the program — they monitor client safety, transport clients to off-site appointments and groups, support group facilitation, respond to behavioral incidents, and maintain the day-to-day rhythm of the facility. Candidates with lived recovery experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

\- Monitor client safety and well-being throughout the program day

\- Transport clients to off-site appointments and groups using company vehicles

\- De-escalate behavioral incidents involving clients with high mental health acuity, in coordination with clinical staff

\- Support group facilitation and structured programming as directed by clinical staff

\- Document client behavior, incidents, and observations in the EHR

\- Respond appropriately to medical and behavioral emergencies, including overdose response with Narcan

\- Maintain a professional, recovery-affirming environment at all times

\- Communicate effectively with clinical, medical, and case management staff

Schedule:

Monday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with days off rotating within the team.

Compensation:

$20 – $25 per hour, dependent on experience and active certifications.

Benefits:

\- Health insurance

\- Paid time off (PTO)

\- 401(k) retirement plan (employer matching not offered at this time)

\- Dental and vision coverage anticipated at next benefits renewal

## Requirements

Required Qualifications:

\- High school diploma or GED (flexible for the right candidate)

\- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a substance use, mental health, or behavioral health facility

\- Demonstrated experience de-escalating clients in crisis or with high mental health acuity

\- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations within the last 3 years)

\- Willingness to transport clients in company vehicles

\- Active CPR/First Aid and Narcan certifications — OR willingness to obtain them with company support immediately upon hire

\- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a structured, recovery-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:

\- Currently active CPR/First Aid and Narcan certifications

\- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), Handle With Care, or comparable de-escalation training

\- Prior experience in a residential, PHP, or IOP treatment setting

\- Lived recovery experience
