Théodor Brasserie is our modern French brasserie in Berlin-Charlottenburg, located in the former Mommseneck on Mommsenstraße. The restaurant brings new life to a historic City West location and combines French brasserie cuisine, selected wines, warm service and a lively, elegant atmosphere.

The goal for Théodor is to establish a successful all-day dining destination in Berlin City West, with services gradually developing from breakfast and lunch through to dinner. We are looking for people who enjoy quality, structure and teamwork — and who want to help shape a young restaurant as it grows into a strong hospitality address in Charlottenburg.

**The Role**

As Host / Hostess at Théodor, you are the first and last impression of the restaurant. You welcome our guests, manage reservations and support a smooth flow between arrival, seating and departure, always making sure guests feel expected, recognised and well looked after.

This is not a purely administrative reception role. We are looking for someone who is a restaurateur at heart: present on the floor, attentive to the room and ready to support the service team when needed — whether that means helping with plates, trays, mise en place or guest requests.

You will work closely with the Restaurant Management, reception team and service team. The right person is warm, organised and confident, enjoys people, stays calm when the restaurant is full and understands that true hospitality often begins before the guest has even reached the table.

## Requirements

·      Previous experience as Host / Hostess, Receptionist or in a guest-facing restaurant role

·      Restaurant experience is a strong plus

·      A genuine passion for hospitality and the rhythm of a busy restaurant

·      Confident and warm communication with guests, both in person and by phone

·      Experience with reservation systems, ideally SevenRooms or a similar platform

·      Ability to manage bookings, walk-ins, waiting times and table allocation with structure and care

·      Willingness and ability to support the service team on the floor, including carrying plates, trays and assisting with table flow

·      Strong sense for guest flow, timing and the atmosphere of the room

·      Calm, friendly and solution-oriented approach during busy services

·      Professional appearance and natural confidence when welcoming guests

·      Clear communication with Restaurant Management, service team and bar

·      Ability to handle guest requests, changes and pressure with patience and discretion

·      Good spoken German and English; further languages are a plus

·      Reliability, punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility
