**ABOUT THE ROLE**

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its Emergency Medicine, Emergency Department, Trauma, Resuscitation, and Acute Care services and is seeking an experienced Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician to join its growing clinical team.

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

The successful candidate will provide consultant-level Emergency Medicine and Acute Care services within a multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, emergency nurses, allied health professionals, and advanced diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

-   Lead the assessment, diagnosis, stabilisation, and management of emergency, trauma, medical, surgical, cardiac, and paediatric presentations.
-   Manage high-acuity emergencies, resuscitation, airway management, procedural sedation, and critical decision-making within the Emergency Department.
-   Assess and triage complex cases, supervise emergency teams, and coordinate timely specialist referrals.
-   Manage patient flow, observation, transfers, admissions, and safe discharge planning.
-   Participate in trauma protocols, disaster preparedness, simulation training, clinical governance, and quality improvement.
-   Maintain accurate emergency documentation and ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and medico-legal standards.

## Requirements

Applications are welcome from internationally trained **Consultant Emergency Medicine Physicians** holding recognised specialist qualifications such as:

-   **American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM)**
-   **UK CCT / FRCEM**
-   **European Board of Emergency Medicine**
-   **Royal College Certification (Canada)**
-   **Australian FACEM**
-   **Arab Board in Emergency Medicine**
-   **MD / DNB / FCPS** or equivalent recognised specialist qualification in Emergency Medicine
