## Description

**This role is with one of our portfolio company.**

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating prescriptions received through our platform before medicines are processed for fulfillment. You will ensure that prescriptions are **authentic, complete, legible, clinically appropriate within the scope of the role, and compliant with applicable pharmacy and regulatory requirements**.

### Key Responsibilities:

-   Review prescriptions submitted by customers through the app, website, or other channels.
-   Assess prescriptions for **legibility, validity, completeness, and potential discrepancies**.
-   Cross-check prescribed medicines against the order placed by the customer.
-   Flag potentially unsafe, unclear, duplicate, expired, altered, or suspicious prescriptions according to company SOPs.
-   Coordinate with pharmacists, customers, prescribers, and internal operations teams to resolve prescription-related issues.
-   Follow applicable laws, regulations, pharmacy standards, and company policies governing prescription medicines.
-   Maintain accurate records of prescription reviews, rejections, escalations, and resolutions.
-   Work closely with Product and Operations teams to identify recurring prescription-validation issues and improve workflows.
-   Support the development and refinement of prescription validation SOPs, checklists, and quality standards.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree/diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm) / MBBS or a relevant healthcare qualification, as required by applicable regulations.
-   7 to 15 years of experience in prescription validation / processing.
-   Strong understanding of common medicines, dosage forms, strengths, and prescription terminology.
-   Experience with an online pharmacy, medicine-delivery platform.
-   Familiarity with electronic prescriptions and digital prescription workflows.
-   Experience with prescription fraud/error identification.
