### Youth Sports Coach | Soccer Stars | Long Island & Eastern Queens

Soccer Stars is the premier youth sports organization serving Long Island and Eastern Queens, providing engaging soccer instruction for children ages **12 months through 13 years**. Through our classes, camps, clinics, and enrichment programs, we help children develop athletic ability, confidence, teamwork, and essential life skills in a positive, age-appropriate environment.

We are seeking dependable, enthusiastic, and professional coaches who are passionate about youth development and committed to delivering an exceptional experience for every family we serve.

### What We Offer

-   Competitive compensation of **$20-$45 per hour**, based on education and experience, with quick promotions based on performance

### Coaching Schedule

Candidates must have consistent availability for the sessions they accept.

Preferred availability includes:

**Monday-Friday**

-   9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
-   12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

**Weekends**

-   9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Applicants with broader availability will have access to additional coaching opportunities.

### Responsibilities

Successful coaches consistently:

-   Deliver engaging, age-appropriate soccer instruction
-   Foster a positive, inclusive, and non-competitive learning environment
-   Build confidence through encouragement and positive reinforcement
-   Maintain professionalism by arriving prepared and on time
-   Adapt instruction to meet the developmental needs of each child
-   Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and fellow coaches
-   Participate in ongoing training and implement Soccer Stars' coaching curriculum and standards

### Qualifications

Required:

-   Minimum 18 years of age
-   Valid driver's license
-   Reliable personal transportation with willingness to travel throughout Long Island
-   Ability to successfully complete a background check
-   Passion for youth development, sports, and coaching

Preferred:

-   Experience coaching youth sports
-   Experience working with children in educational, recreational, or camp settings
-   Background in athletics, physical education, kinesiology, exercise science, fitness, dance, gymnastics, martial arts, or related disciplines
-   Strong communication and leadership skills
