### **About the Role**

Joining our FP&A team as a Working Student, you won't just be doing basic data entry, you’ll have real ownership from day one.

You’ll play a key role in strengthening our monthly financial reporting and budgeting processes across our PE-backed, multi-entity SaaS group. By consolidating costs and building clear, vendor-level insights, you will directly enable our budget owners to make smarter, faster decisions.

### **What You’ll Do**

-   **Drive Spend Transparency:** Consolidate accounting cost data across multiple systems monthly, categorizing and tagging line items by vendor and cost type.
-   **Optimize Financial Models:** Maintain and refine Excel models tracking actual spend against budget and forecast.
-   **Empower Budget Owners:** Deliver clearer, more timely spend visibility to department heads to help optimize operational budgets.
-   **Automate & Improve:** Leverage advanced Excel features, SQL, and PowerBI to automate recurring data flows, account reconciliations, and data validation.
-   **Innovate & Own:** Proactively contribute ideas to streamline our processes, taking real ownership of your workstreams.

### **What You Bring**

-   **Academic Background:** Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
-   **Spreadsheet & Data Skills:** Advanced Excel proficiency (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, Power Query). Exposure to SQL, Snowflake, or PowerBI is a strong plus.
-   **Financial Basics:** Solid understanding of financial accounting fundamentals (P&L structure, cost categorization, accruals logic).
-   **Detail & Precision:** High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy across repetitive workflows.
-   **Language & Availability:** Fluent in English (written and spoken). Based in Berlin and available to work 20 hours/week for at least 12 months. Exposure to SaaS or PE environments is a bonus
