Salary : 55K-60K as base + Benefits

Department: SCM

Immediate Supervisor: SCM Manager

Nearest subordinate: Shared Service Staff

With minimal supervision, purchase items, materials or services of a technical nature customized to company specification and delivery requirements. Expedite work, vendors, and may locate/promote new vendor sources.

\[Job Description\]

\- Purchase and expedite for timely delivery of material parts and services as required.

\- Vendor selection may include visiting vendor facilities.

\- Confer with other departments as needed for technical assistance in resolving purchasing issues.

\- Evaluate invoice charges as required.

\- Coordinate purchasing related activities involving routing, shipping and receiving of parts and materials.

\- Maintain appropriate records including encumbrance and company owned tooling stored or used by vendors.

## Requirements

Knowledge and Skills Desired

\- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or equivalent education is required.

\- Proficient/Advanced skills with MS Excel and ERP (SAP)

\- 1+ years’ experience as a buyer for a manufacturing company.

\- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

\- Understanding SOX requirements and internal controls

\- Strong attention to detail

\- Consistently able to meet reporting deadlines

\- Ability to problem solve and work independently

\- Strict work ethic

\- Strong leadership skills

\- Language skill is most preferred, communicating with customers

\- Must be authorized to start working in U.S.
