We're looking for an experienced and results-driven **Business Development Manager** to join our Wacol team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a Queensland territory, build strong customer relationships, and drive business growth within a well-established and respected Australian business.

**About the Role**

As the Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships across Queensland.

You'll work closely with manufacturers, fabricators, roll formers, and industrial customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored steel solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term partnerships and delivering exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Develop new business opportunities across Queensland
-   Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers
-   Build strong relationships with manufacturers, fabricators, and industrial customers
-   Conduct regular customer visits and identify opportunities to increase sales
-   Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close new business opportunities
-   Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
-   Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
-   Work closely with internal sales and operations teams to ensure outstanding customer service
-   Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasting
-   Represent Coil Steel professionally in the marketplace

**About You**

-   Previous experience in Business Development, Account Management, or Industrial Sales
-   Experience within the steel, metal, manufacturing, building products, or industrial distribution industry
-   Knowledge of steel sheet, coil, or related products will be highly regarded
-   Strong ability to build long-term customer relationships
-   Proven success in winning new business and growing existing accounts
-   Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
-   Self-motivated with a strong commercial mindset
-   Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader team
-   Current Australian driver's licence
