## Description

SNIPEBRIDGE is a strategic talent solutions company specializing in connecting exceptional talent to great career opportunities. We work as an exclusive partner to leading AEC and technology organizations that are advancing the built environment through innovation, technical rigor, and transformative work.

**COMPANY**

Our client operates within the fast-moving data center and digital infrastructure sector, where engineering, construction, technology, energy, and operations come together to support always-on environments. Its multidisciplinary teams plan, design, deliver, and operate complex facilities with a strong focus on reliability, safety, scalability, and efficient use of power and cooling. The work calls for close coordination across technical disciplines and offers the opportunity to contribute to infrastructure that supports the continued growth of cloud computing, AI, and connected services.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Preconstruction Manager will shape data center projects before work begins in the field. Working across estimating, design coordination, procurement, scheduling, and constructability, this person will turn early concepts into executable delivery plans while protecting cost, schedule, quality, and operational objectives.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

- Lead preconstruction planning from concept and site selection through design development and buyout
- Build and validate conceptual estimates, detailed budgets, cost plans, and value-analysis options
- Develop milestone schedules, procurement strategies, bid packages, and long-lead equipment plans
- Facilitate design reviews, constructability reviews, and scope-alignment meetings
- Coordinate input from owners, architects, engineers, trade partners, utilities, and commissioning teams
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals, identify scope gaps, and support final award recommendations
- Track design decisions, risk items, allowances, contingencies, and budget movement
- Support project turnover from preconstruction to the field delivery team

### REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 7+ years of commercial preconstruction, estimating, or project planning experience
- Experience with data centers, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, or other mission-critical facilities preferred
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction sequencing, procurement, and cost drivers
- Proficiency with estimating, scheduling, document-management, and takeoff platforms
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Strong judgment, organization, and attention to scope detail
