## Description

NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer focused Independent Contractor to service a dedicated **hospital pickup route** within our established **South Bend, IN** operation. This is a consistent, revenue generating opportunity that accepts **any qualifying vehicle**. We believe every delivery is more than just a drop off—it's an opportunity to make someone's day.

### Your Mission

-   **Deliver with Clockwork Precision:** Ensure that cargo is picked up and delivered to our valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and punctuality.
-   **Route Mastery:** Utilize GPS or mapping software to plan and follow efficient routes, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
-   **Exceptional Customer Service:** Greet customers with professionalism and warmth, handling questions or issues with empathy.
-   **Problem Solving Skills:** Think quickly and adapt when faced with challenges such as traffic delays or address changes to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.

### Route Details & Schedule (South Bend Area)

-   **Compensation:** Daily guarantee plus fuel charge (average weekly commission approximately **$730**). Weekly earnings vary based on the fuel charge percentage, which is subject to change every two weeks.
-   **Schedule:** Monday through Friday.
-   **Start/End Time:** 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
-   **Required Vehicle:** Any qualifying vehicle.
-   **Weekly Mileage:** Approximately 800 miles.
-   **Daily Stops:** Approximately 7 to 9.
-   **Geographical Area:** South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart, Goshen, Nappanee, Bremen, LaPorte, and Michigan City.
-   **Sorting:** None required.

## Requirements

### Vehicle Requirements:

-   Candidates may use **any qualifying vehicle** that is suitable for route work.
-   The vehicle must be **2016 model year or newer**. This ensures the vehicle meets modern safety and reliability standards.

To maintain our industry leading fleet of professional drivers, you must meet the following:

-   **Age:** Be at least 21 years of age.
-   **Vehicle:** Own a vehicle that can pass a multi point inspection and is suitable for delivery.
-   **Smartphone:** Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
-   **Licensing & Insurance:** Hold a valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
-   **Pre Employment Screening:** You must successfully pass a comprehensive pre employment process before beginning work, which includes a Driving History Review (past 36 months), Criminal Background Check, and Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening.
