## Description

**Scholars International Language School** is seeking to appoint an outstanding and motivated **Science Teacher/HoD** for the 2026/27 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Science lessons while providing effective leadership to the department, driving high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Deliver high-quality Science lessons across the secondary phase.
-   Lead and develop the Science department, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning.
-   Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment.
-   Support curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development.
-   Mentor colleagues and promote collaborative practice.
-   Contribute to the wider life of the school.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification.
-   Leadership experience or the potential to lead a department.
-   Strong organisational, communication, and classroom management skills.
