## Description

Come join Incommunities as our new **Landscaper**, delivering a high quality landscaping and external works service, this includes supporting minor groundworks and ensuring our customers gardens are safe.

**Duties include:**

-   Carry out green landscaping works, including grass cutting and edging, shrub, bush, and hedge cutting as well as clearance of overgrown areas impacting visibility, access, or safety.
-   Install, repair, and maintain fencing and boundary features, including fence panels, posts, and gates, boundary lines between properties, simple boundary edging and demarcation.
-   Assist with small retaining walls and level adjustments, including supporting construction, repair, or stabilisation of low retaining walls, making safe changes to garden levels where required and helping to manage transitions between different ground heights.
-   Work closely with a Groundworker on minor external works such as Paths, paving, and access routes, external steps and level changes, Low walls and small retaining structures.
-   Prepare and tidy work areas, ensuring surfaces and boundaries are left safe, stable, and compliant.
-   Support works that improve drainage, access, and safe movement within gardens.
-   Identify, reduce, and report HHSRS hazards, particularly uneven or unstable ground levels, trip hazards along paths and boundaries, falls from height risks caused by level changes, retaining walls, or exposed edges.
-   Safely use and maintain all tools, including but not limited to powered gardening equipment, hand tools for fencing and groundworks and any construction tools used for small walls and level works.
-   Participate in risk assessments and toolbox talks as required.

## Requirements

-   Experience in a similar role including landscaping, grounds maintenance, or external works.
-   Relevant landscaping qualification or be qualified by relevant experience and be willing to work towards a qualification.
-   Knowledge of working with boundaries and fencing and uneven ground and level changes.
-   Strong awareness of health and safety risks in domestic environments.
-   Good communication skills to be able to speak clearly with colleagues, contractors and customers.
-   Full UK driving licence and able to drive manual fleet.
