## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Quantity Surveyor** to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial and cost management of major construction projects, from pre-contract stages through project completion.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Prepare detailed cost estimates, cost plans and project budgets
-   Prepare, review and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity take-offs
-   Conduct cost analysis and evaluate project expenditures against approved budgets
-   Manage the valuation of works, interim payments and final accounts
-   Review and assess variations, change orders, claims and contractual notices
-   Support tendering and procurement activities, including the evaluation of bids and subcontractor proposals
-   Negotiate and manage commercial aspects with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers
-   Monitor project costs and prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for management
-   Identify commercial and financial risks and propose appropriate mitigation measures
-   Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project commercial procedures
-   Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement and Finance teams throughout the project lifecycle

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field
-   Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or Commercial Management
-   Proven experience on large-scale construction projects
-   Strong knowledge of cost planning, estimating, BOQ preparation, tendering and procurement
-   Solid experience with contract administration, variations, claims and final accounts
-   Good understanding of FIDIC and other standard forms of construction contracts
-   Experience working with contractors and/or consultancy companies is highly preferred
-   Proficiency in relevant cost management and quantity surveying software
-   Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
-   Professional working proficiency in English
