## Description

**You've Probably Fixed Someone Else's Spreadsheet Today. Twice.**
You know what a good management report looks like, because you've cleaned up enough bad ones. You write commentary that actually explains something, not just restates the numbers in sentence form. And when the forecast is wrong, you already know why before anyone asks.

If you're the kind of finance person who reads a variance and immediately starts asking questions, keep reading.

We're First Focus, Australia's #1 MSP (Cloud Tango, 9 years running), with almost 400 people across Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. We've been growing for over 15 years and our finance function is growing with us. Find out what drives us at [https://www.firstfocus.com.au/about-us/](https://www.firstfocus.com.au/about-us/)

**About This Role - Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (FP&A Analyst)**

This is not a reporting-for-reporting's-sake job.

You'll own the Group's FP&A outputs. That means monthly management packs, EBITDA bridge and variance analysis, rolling forecasts, budgeting, and responding to our US parent company's reporting requirements. You'll work closely with the Head of Finance and Financial Reporting Manager, and you'll be the person who turns a lot of numbers into something leadership can actually use.

The role sits across multiple entities and regions, so if you've only ever worked in a single-entity environment, this will be a step up. A good one, but a step up

## Requirements

**What You'll Be Doing**

- Preparing monthly management reporting packs, including EBITDA bridge and variance analysis
- Writing clear, insight-driven commentary that explains what happened and why, not just what the numbers say
- Maintaining rolling forecasts and supporting the annual budget cycle
- Responding to US parent and external reporting requirements
- Analysing performance across business units, regions, and service lines
- Identifying risks and opportunities before someone else has to flag them
- Improving reporting processes, templates, and automation, because if something is slow and repetitive, it probably shouldn't be

**What You'll Bring**
**The must-haves:**

- 3–5 years’ experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or a similar analytical role
- Advanced Excel skills (including complex formulas, data modelling, and large datasets)
- Hands-on experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI
- Exposure to BI tools and financial reporting platforms (e.g., Causal, DataRails or similar)
- Strong ability to gather, clean, and consolidate data from multiple sources
- Experience building clear, well-structured reports across different systems
- Solid understanding of financial data flows and how reporting outputs are constructed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity or international environment
- Strong written and verbal English. Your commentary gets read, not rewritten
- Comfort working with AU/NZ stakeholders and supporting a US parent company
- Experience supporting US-based finance teams (highly regarded)

**Bonus points for:**

- Big 4 or professional services background
- Experience in services, MSP, or tech industries
- Exposure to BI tools or financial systems

**What Good Looks Like**
After six months, you'll know you're nailing it when:

- Reporting packs land on time, every time, with minimal rework from stakeholders
- Your commentary is the part people actually read, not skim past
- Forecasts are reliable enough that leadership trusts them to make decisions
- You're flagging risks and opportunities before anyone has to ask
- You're running your own workload without needing to be chased

## Benefits

- Competitive salary: ₱90,000 – ₱110,000 per month
- Hybrid working arrangements
- HMO from day 1 + 1 dependent with dental coverage
- Free Uprise access, 1:1 coaching with qualified psychologists or counsellors
- "Never Stop Growing": 10 paid study days per year, exam covered, pay rises for certifications (conditions apply)
- Day shift, weekends off\*, 25 paid leave days annually
- Employee referral program (₱20,000)
- MVP award (₱10,000)
- Social events, EOFY and Christmas parties
- Loyalty bonuses\*

**Office locations:**

- 29th Floor, Robinsons Cyberscape Gamma, Topaz Road, Ortigas, Pasig City
- 26th Floor, Axis Tower One, Filinvest Ave, Alabang, Muntinlupa

Finance roles at this level are not hard to find. One where you actually own the outputs, work with a group that spans three countries, and have a direct line to decisions that matter — that's a different thing entirely.

If you're ready to stop being the person who formats someone else's report and start being the person the business relies on, we'd like to hear from you.
