## Description

### **Accountant**

1.  **Financial Record Keeping:**

-   Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
-   Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

4.  **Preparation of Financial Statements:**

-   Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
-   Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.

7.  **Reconciliations:**

-   Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
-   Identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

10.  **Supporting Audits:**

-   Prepare financial documentation for audits.
-   Assist in the coordination of external audits.

13.  **Budget Monitoring:**

-   Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditures.
-   Provide variance reports to management.

16.  **Compliance:**

-   Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
-   Stay updated on changes in financial legislation and best practices.

19.  **Accounting Software:**

-   Utilize accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) for transactions and reporting.
-   Assist in implementing new financial software solutions.

22.  **Internal Controls:**

-   Assist in maintaining and enforcing internal controls.
-   Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.

25.  **Team Collaboration:**

-   Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
-   Support the finance team in various ad-hoc projects and tasks.

## Requirements

### **Educational Background**

-   **Minimum**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

**Professional Experience**

-   1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

**Technical Skills**

-   Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
-   Strong Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis functions.

**Certifications**

-   ZAT or IFRS other relevant certification is a plus but not required.
