## Description

**Job:**

To support both the Vehicle Planning and wider Operations team with analysis and insight, as well as lead on the fortnightly Porsche Cars Great Britain online vehicle auction. The role is crucial in ensuring maximum return for PCGB and accuracy of new car volume planning. The role will also include analysis of risks and opportunities for Porsche in the UK market and reporting of sales performance to the UK business and Porsche AG.

**This is a Placement Year position for a candidate currently studying an Undergraduate degree at university, seeking a placement for their third year. The role will commence in August 2027. Please ensure that you have read and understood the requirements of the role before applying.**

**Responsibilities:**

-   To lead the PCGB ‘Project Zephyr’ topic on behalf of Operations, analysing internal data and external websites for any reseller activity – own the monitoring dashboard and communication between PCGB and the Centre network
-   To own the Pit Lane Club helpdesk, supporting our Centre network with any queries they have around our Tactical Campaigns and the claiming back of support funds
-   To support the Production & Tactical Planning with all Porsche new car volume planning, forecasting and reporting topics for PCGB and ROI
-   To assist with the preparation and submission of all Weekly, Monthly and Annual forecast submissions to PAG
-   To analyse and identify risks and opportunities in the current sales plan, highlighting or escalating these to the Production & Tactical Planning Manager and wider Operations team
-   To provide administrative and analytical support in the production allocation process to both the Production & Tactical Planning Manager and wider vehicle planning team.
-   Support the Senior Vehicle Planner with the management of a network production trading marketplace.
-   Develop the Sales Operations teams PowerBI dashboards, driving insight using automated data and saving time for the department
-   Assist the Production & Tactical Planning Manager with the creation and implementation of Tactical campaigns
-   Assist with preparation of business presentations and reports e.g. Forecast summaries, Sales Meetings, Performance Updates on an ad-hoc basis.

## Requirements

**Minimum Qualifications**

-   Currently studying a Business related or Maths degree.
-   Strong level of analytical capability.
-   Strong level of IT literacy required, including MS office. Basic level of MS Excel proficiency essential.
-   Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
-   Strong organisational and communication skills are needed for this role, given the complexity of the tasks and the scope of stakeholder engagement.

**Preferred Qualifications**

-   A-Levels inc. Maths or Science would be advantageous due to numerical nature of the role.
-   Full UK driving licence.
-   Interested in the automotive industry and innovation.

**Location:**

Porsche Cars GB Ltd and Porsche Retail Head Office is located conveniently by junction 12 of the M4, adjacent to a retail park, gym, and well-known fast-food restaurants. It is within walking distance of Theale's main line train station and a bus stop which operate regular services to Reading Town Centre.
