### Job Title: Accountant with Investment Deal Sourcing Experience

**Location:** 100% Remote Work

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant with a background in investment deal sourcing to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis skills, a keen understanding of investment strategies, and the ability to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1.  **Financial Analysis and Reporting:**

-   Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
-   Conduct detailed financial analysis to support investment decisions.
-   Monitor financial performance of investment portfolios and prepare periodic reports.

-   **Investment Deal Sourcing:**

-   Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities through market research and networking.
-   Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and return on investment analysis.
-   Develop and maintain relationships with investment banks, venture capitalists, private equity firms, and other sources of deal flow.

-   **Budgeting and Forecasting:**

-   Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
-   Monitor budget performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
-   Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.

-   **Compliance and Risk Management:**

-   Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
-   Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
-   Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with investment activities.

-   **Collaboration and Communication:**

-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to support investment activities.
-   Communicate financial insights and investment opportunities to senior management and stakeholders.
-   Prepare and present investment proposals and recommendations to the executive team.

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

-   Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CFA designation preferred.
-   Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on investment deal sourcing.
-   Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
-   Knowledge of investment strategies, financial markets, and valuation techniques.
-   Proficient in accounting software and financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, etc.).
-   Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
-   Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
