## Description

-   Accept direction from, and interact professionally with supervisor and co-workers

-   Work with integrity and follow assigned tasks through to completion
-   Maintain a strict standard of data privacy in handling confidential employee and company information
-   Utilize time management skills to manage multiple task balancing
-   Support the human resources department by assisting with administrative duties to learn about the work being performed, and to contribute to completion of department workload
-   Learn and assist with various projects, such as HRIS system maintenance, data entry projects, onboarding and offboarding tasks, etc.

-   Other duties as assigned

## Requirements

**Education/Training (both required and desired):** 

-   High School diploma or equivalent required  
-   Current enrollment or recent completion of a post-high school education program in a Human Resources field  
    

**Experience:**

-   0+ years of professional experience in the required task area
-   Must have a basic understanding of work to be performed
-   Interns will work 15 – 25 hours per week; summer interns will typically work 40 hours

**Security:**

-   Must be a US citizen
-   Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required

**Physical Requirements**

-   Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and use of computer screens
-   Frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements using a keyboard, mouse, and handwriting
-   Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
