Panelmatic is looking for an Quality Manager to join RIC Power Corp, our sister company in Burnaby, BC, Canada.

**Job Summary:**

As the Quality Manager, you will lead all aspects of the Quality function, ensuring alignment with RIC Power Corporation’s vision, mission, and goals. You will be responsible for the performance, compliance, continuous improvement, and strategic integration of the Quality Management System (QMS). This role oversees the QC team and is accountable for the accuracy and completeness of all product acceptance testing prior to release.

**Job Duties:**

-   Responsible for overall product and process quality (QA/QC) for plant.
-   Directly manage the QC team ensuring adequate coverage and technical competency for all test and inspection activities.
-   Maintain and continuously improve test procedures and checklists to reflect current product designs, standards, and lessons learned from non-conformances.
-   Supervise quality department (QA/QC) personnel and manage, train, develop and motivate them to achieve overall quality goals and objectives.
-   Develop, implement, manage and maintain all aspects of the Plant Quality Management System in accordance with ISO-9001 and other relevant industry standards.

-   Train organization on documented policy and procedures and ensure training is effective
-   Conduct internal audits and management reviews
-   Ensure corrective and preventive actions processes are in place and effective leading to QMS System continuously improving to meet evolving needs.
-   Take appropriate steps to ensure QMS is aligned with actual practice and that all employees are aware of and compliant with their responsibilities
-   Collect data, conduct data analysis/root cause analysis and reporting to foster continuous improvements

-   Monitor and report KPIs/quality metrics (CoPQ, defect rates, audit findings etc.) and present data to leadership.
-   Drive corrective actions to foster overall process improvement
-   Support cost estimating for quality-related elements in bids and project planning.
-   Other duties as assigned.

## Requirements

**Required Qualifications**

-   Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or a related technical field is required
-   Minimum five years of experience in a QA/QC leadership role in a manufacturing environment is required
-   Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and related standards; experience leading or maintaining certification is required
-   Familiarity with ERP and quality management software systems is required

**Preferred Qualifications:**

-   Previous experience leading QA/QC in electrical manufacturing industries
-   Experience with medium-voltage switchgear or substation equipment testing and commissioning
-   Demonstrated hands-on experience with electrical acceptance testing methods, including dielectric withstand (hipot), bus impedance, heat run, and basic impulse level (BIL) testing, required
-   Working knowledge of applicable test standards (for example, IEEE/NETA acceptance testing standards) for medium-voltage electrical equipment required
-   Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, customer specifications, and quality documentation required
-   Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies preferred
