## Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused **Class A CDL Sod Delivery Driver** to transport and deliver sod to job sites and customers. This role requires hands-on work, including securing loads and assisting with unloading. Ideal candidates will have strong driving experience, a clean record, and a willingness to work in a physically active environment.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

\*Hours may vary day to day based on multiple factors

\*Regional travel - home 99% of the time with exception of rare out-of-town projects

\*Will operate a Flatbed

-   Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport sod to customer locations
-   Load, secure, strap, and unstrap sod loads for transport
-   Deliver materials to residential, commercial, and job site locations
-   Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
-   Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
-   Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
-   Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
-   Assist with yard duties and equipment operation as needed

## Requirements

-   Valid **Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)**
-   Current **DOT Medical Card**
-   Must be **at least 21 years of age**
-   Minimum **3 years of verifiable Class A driving experience**
-   **Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)**
-   Must be **registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse**
-   Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

### **Preferred Qualifications**

-   Experience operating a **front-end loader**
-   Previous experience delivering sod, landscaping materials, or construction supplies
-   Familiarity with local routes and job site deliveries

### **Physical Requirements**

-   Ability to frequently **strap and unstrap loads**
-   Must be able to lift, bend, and work in outdoor environments
-   Capable of working in varying weather conditions

Hourly Pay based on performance and experience

Job Type: Full-time

**Pay: From $21 to $24 per hour DOE w/ time & a half after 40 (**_**overtime will be required**_**)**
