Pharmathen offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a **Imports Officer** to join our team at our Aspropyrgos premises.

As a **Imports Officer**, you will coordinate release and entry processing for import shipments; arranges for final delivery after release.

## Requirements

**What you will do:**

More particularly:

-   Identify incoming documents to insure required documents are received
-   Notify Purchasing Department, Planning & Regulatory, of missing documents
-   Obtain arrival information from carrier’s offices or websites
-   Coordinate carrier release by submitting required bills of lading and freight payments
-   Coordinate and prepare entry summary as needed
-   Monitor release status of Customs in cooperation with Custom clearance officer
-   Communicate shipment status to all involved parties

**The ideal candidate should have:**

-   College Diploma / BSc preferred
-   At least 3 years’ experience in relevant position

**Job-Specific Skills**:

-   Intermediate computer and database application skills
-   Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
-   Basic knowledge of International trade policies (Incoterms), and import, export bureaucracy
