## Description

Outsourcing Advantage is a boutique business process outsourcing (BPO) firm specializing in back-office and customer service support for U.S.-based businesses in the hospital and health care sector. As an Authorization Receiver, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless authorization processes that directly impact client operations and service continuity.  
  
Key responsibilities include:

-   Enter and maintain authorizations in CentralReach, including temporary authorizations, change-of-provider requests, and continuation-of-care requests
-   Follow up with insurance companies to ensure authorizations are received and processed in a timely manner
-   Review authorization statuses, resolve discrepancies, and obtain missing information/documentation
-   Grant late conversion permissions when approved and in compliance with company guidelines
-   Monitor upcoming authorization expirations and notify the placement team to prevent service disruptions
-   Audit submitted authorizations for accuracy and completeness prior to/after submission to insurance
-   Monitor and respond to office, authsupport, and payroll support inboxes
-   Review, approve, or deny makeup requests based on authorization availability and policy guidelines
-   Adjust converted sessions when permitted and ensure all updates are properly documented
-   Support authorization-related escalations and contribute to operational workflow efficiency
-   Collaborate with intake, placement, and authorization teams to coordinate authorization needs

## Requirements

### Required Qualifications:

-   Experience in an administrative or operations support role requiring accurate data entry and record maintenance
-   Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
-   Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. 
-   Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. 
-   Experience communicating with insurance companies or payers to follow up on authorization status or required documentation
-   Experience collaborating with internal teams
-   C1 English level

### Preferred Qualifications:

-   Familiarity with hospital and health care industry processes
-   Experience with other healthcare authorization or scheduling platforms
