## Description

Stability, flexibility and the opportunity to work on greenfield projects within one of Europe’s leading financial experts, sound interesting to you?

**LDMS - About Us**

Founded in 2018, LDMS is part of the LC Financial Holdings group, a 3 pillar organisation that has over 950 employees across Europe. Together, we have an impressive track record of providing world class credit expertise that spans over 20 years.

We are a Fintech company focused on digital lending software, a market growing around 18% per year and set to be worth $27 billion by 2028. Given our expertise within the company and across the group we aim to be the leader in the space, and in order to do that we need a team of people who can not just write quality code but can think, create and challenge others to come up with the best solutions for our customers. We are an ambitious team with a pretty big ‘to do list’ including improving existing products, building new ones and delivering to new markets.

**The Role**

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to take ownership of complex, business-critical products at scale. Driving the right outcomes across multiple clients, markets and country configurations. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will set direction for your product area, make the hard prioritisation and trade-off calls, and manage stakeholders from delivery teams, architecture, through to senior group leadership. You will work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Technology and Professional Services to deliver first-class financial management software.

This is a senior, self-starting role for someone who has already proven they can own a product end-to-end and is ready to deliver complex work at scale, influence beyond a single product, and raise the bar for those around them. You should be comfortable defending strategy with evidence, leading through ambiguity, and treating AI and data not as buzzwords but as practical tools you actively apply to product discovery, decisioning and user workflows. If you are motivated by the depth and impact you can bring to an established organisation, and you bring a mature, professional approach to stakeholder engagement, this role is built for you.

**Key Responsibilities:**

From time to time, the key responsibilities may change or be adapted to the needs of the business; however, the below gives an overview of the key focus areas.

### **Product Ownership & Strategy**

- Own and evolve one or more complex products (or a large product area) used across multiple clients, countries and tenants. Setting a clear vision and roadmap and defending it with reasoning when it is challenged.
- Deliver complex projects at scale, driving the correct outcomes rather than activity, and aligning delivery to LDMS’s strategic objectives.
- Balance global product consistency against local market, client and regulatory requirements, anticipating cross-product and cross-market implications before they surface.
- Act as the ultimate point of accountability for your product’s outcomes and the value it delivers, owning whether the bet landed, not just whether it shipped.
- Contribute to shaping product strategy beyond your own area, supporting the Head of Product on the broader direction of the product estate.

### **Backlog Management & Prioritisation**

- Orchestrate discovery, backlog health and prioritisation across a complex product or large programme of work, framing ambiguous problem spaces into structured, deliverable outcomes.
- Collaborate with group stakeholders to make and own high-stakes prioritisation and trade-off decisions with significant business impact, and stand behind them under scrutiny.
- Set the discovery and refinement standard using a product led approach that other Product Owners follow, raising the bar across the teams you touch.
- Drive delivery across multiple contributors and teams toward the intended value, managing project-level risk proactively and removing blockers for the team.
- Apply effective tooling, cadence and organisational discipline to deliver at scale within an Agile / Scrum operating model.

### **Requirements & Delivery**

- Turn large, ambiguous business problems into clear, valuable, well-shaped work. Working with external stakeholders to make understandable product decisions that engineering teams can construct with clarity.
- Gather, analyse and challenge business, functional and non-functional requirements from internal and group stakeholders, negotiating the why / what / how where needed.
- Own and continuously improve end-to-end customer and user journeys across the platform.
- Support and steer delivery teams throughout the lifecycle, while adapting & shaping ways of working, simultaneously holding the line on Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
- Use metrics and product-health data to validate whether delivered value actually landed, and feed that evidence back into the roadmap.

### **Stakeholder & Client Collaboration**

- Manage stakeholders across a wide range of seniority, from delivery teams to senior group leadership, building alignment across competing interests and bringing people with you.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Technology, QA, Professional Services, Project Management and Service Delivery to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Act as a trusted, credible voice of product to group clients, translating their needs and challenges into roadmap direction.
- Coach and mentor Product Owners, model mature product leadership, and actively grow the capability of those around you.
- Communicate priorities, progress, risks and difficult decisions clearly and confidently. Demonstrating the ability to have the hard conversations rather than avoiding them.

### **AI & Product Innovation**

- Set the direction for how AI, automation and data-driven approaches are applied within your product scope to improve processing, decisioning, efficiency and user experience.
- Move AI from experimentation to embedded product capability, judging where it genuinely adds value and where it does not.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI and financial-services technology, and prepare your product and team for where the market is heading.

## Requirements

**Essential:**

- Proven, extensive experience as a Product Owner (or equivalent) in financial services, fintech or complex regulated software, with a track record of owning products end-to-end.
- Strong financial-services domain knowledge: lending, credit, origination/onboarding or the servicing and administration of loan agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects at scale, driving the correct outcomes across multiple teams and contributors.
- Excellent decision-making and prioritisation under ambiguity, able to make and defend high-stakes trade-offs with business impact.
- Strong stakeholder leadership: influencing and aligning senior, cross-functional and client stakeholders without relying on authority.
- Deep experience owning and shaping backlogs, discovery and requirements in an Agile / Scrum environment (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar).
- Experience with complex SaaS, multi-tenant or highly configurable products serving multiple clients, markets or configurations.
- A mature, self-starting operating style, comfortable with autonomy, accountability and having the hard conversations.
- Evidence of raising the bar for others, mentoring or coaching Product Owners and improving how the product team works.

**Desirable:**

- Exposure to multi-country or multi-regulatory product delivery.
- Hands-on experience applying AI or machine learning within software products beyond experimentation.
- Familiarity with data-driven product development, product-health metrics and outcome measurement.
- Experience contributing to product strategy across more than one product or a wider portfolio.
- Technical fluency an added bonus but not required.

**What’s important to us?**

It’s safe to say our passion is tech, but we recognise that the people we hire and bring together are at the heart of the organisation. Over the years, we have acquired and recruited a pretty eclectic bunch with hobbies ranging from gaming to ultra marathon running, snowboarding to chess and hiking and climbing; However, what we do have in common are our values:

- Teamwork
- Merit
- Develop
- Honest
- Impactful
- Integrity

They may look like corporate jargon, but they mean something to us. If you can relate to the above, get in touch, as there’s a good chance that you’d be a great addition to the team.
