**Job Title: Medical Assistant**

**Location:** Mesa, Arizona

**Work Environment:** Functional and integrative medicine outpatient clinic focused on patient-centered care.

**Salary / Hourly Rate:** $16.50 - $17.00 per hour (DOE)

**Hours & Schedule:**

-   **Monday & Wednesday:** 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
-   **Tuesday & Thursday:** 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
-   **Friday:** 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
-   **2nd & 4th Saturday:** 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our functional medicine practice in Mesa, Arizona. This position is ideal for a Medical Assistant who is passionate about integrative and functional medicine, values patient-centered care, and enjoys working in a collaborative clinical environment. The Medical Assistant will play a key role in supporting providers, coordinating patient flow, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities:**

-   Room patients and obtain vital signs
-   Assist with clinical documentation and patient charting
-   Support providers during examinations and procedures
-   Assist with functional medicine workflows and patient care plans
-   Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms and clinical areas
-   Assist with scheduling, patient education, and follow-up communication
-   Ensure accuracy in EMR documentation and clinical records
-   Provide compassionate, professional patient service
-   Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to maintain efficient office operations

**Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:**

-   High school diploma or equivalent
-   Previous Medical Assistant experience required
-   Experience in a functional medicine, integrative medicine, or primary care setting preferred
-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-   Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation
-   Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
-   Medical Assistant certification preferred
-   Current BLS certification preferred
