## Requirements

**Your Mission:**

As a Product Designer at Propeller, you will partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape product strategy, influence the roadmap and turn customer needs into clear, impactful solutions. With a high level of autonomy, you will own design across the product lifecycle - from discovery and problem framing through to delivery and iteration - while aligning stakeholders around the squad's priorities, decisions and direction.  

**Your Responsibilities:**

-   Own the end-to-end design process, from customer discovery and problem framing through to detailed design, delivery and launch.
-   Work closely with customers, subject-matter experts and internal teams to understand complex workflows and turn them into simple, intuitive product experiences.
-   Independently turn complex problems into clear solution directions, drawing on the Product Lead, Engineering Lead and wider team for context and collaboration.
-   Partner closely with engineers throughout delivery, resolving trade-offs and maintaining momentum without compromising the customer experience.
-   Drive design decision through evidence - stay close to customers through ongoing research, using evidence and product data to guide design decisions, validate what works and shape solutions as we enter a new market.
-   Create and validate user flows, prototypes and interaction designs, including edge cases and acceptance criteria.
-   Lead through influence, bringing stakeholders along on the squad’s decisions, telling the story behind the feature, driving progress and product direction, and creating the energy and alignment needed to move things forward.
-   Thrive in a distributed team, working autonomously across locations and time zones while building strong connections with customers and teammates.

**Your Skills:**

-   3-5 years' experience as a product designer.
-   Deep understanding of UI/UX best practices, experience working with complex web products, strong proficiency in tools such as Figma, and familiarity with modern design principles.
-   Strong systems thinking skills.
-   Experience running customer discovery independently.
-   Experience designing technical or data-heavy products.
