## Description

SciTec is seeking a Quality Assurance / Test Lead for large software system providing value for an emergent missile defense need.   

### Responsibilities

-   Support planning and execution of system integration and verification activities 
-   Develop and refine test strategies, plans, and methodologies aligned with program objectives 
-   Execute and support system-level test events, including integration, functional, and performance testing 
-   Identify verification gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, and drive resolution 
-   Analyze system performance against requirements and document test results 
-   Collaborate with software, systems, infrastructure, and program teams to ensure integrated system readiness 
-   Support coordination with government and contractor stakeholders to align integration and test activities 
-   Provide recommendations to improve verification rigor, efficiency, and consistency 
-   Support preparation for internal and external reviews, assessments, and demonstrations 
-   Contribute to continuous improvement of integration and test processes across programs 
-   Derive metrics and acceptance criteria for system-level and acceptance-level testing from program requirements 
-   Perform other duties as assigned

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or a related technical field or equivalent experience 
-   10+ years of experience supporting system integration, test, or verification activities in a defense or complex systems environment 
-   Experience with system-level verification and validation (V&V) 
-   Experience with the four layers of testing in the software development life cycle (SDLC) 
-   Experience developing or executing test plans and test procedures 
-   Ability to analyze system behavior against requirements, derived test criteria, and document results 
-   Strong understanding of integration environments and test workflows 
-   Experience collaborating across technical teams and stakeholders 
-   Strong attention to detail and analytical skills 
-   Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
-   Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance

Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred: 

-   A current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher 
-   Experience contributing to verification strategy development 
-   Experience supporting Missile Warning, space, or similar mission systems 
-   Experience working across multiple programs or system components 
-   Experience supporting customer-facing test events or demonstrations 
-   Experience in Agile or hybrid development environments

The pay range for this position is $152,000 to 191,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
