**Overview**   
Manna is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Global Operations Support to join our maintenance team in Ireland.   
This role will support the expansion and ongoing reliability of Manna’s drone delivery operations across new and existing sites globally.

You will act as a key technical support point for operations teams, helping diagnose issues remotely, support aircraft maintenance, train local personnel, improve maintenance documentation, and ensure our teams have the tools, knowledge, and guidance needed to keep the fleet operating safely and reliably. 

  
This is an Ireland-based role with regular international travel required. Candidates should be comfortable travelling up to 50% of the time to support new site launches, training, troubleshooting, maintenance readiness, and operational ramp-up activities. The role will also include one day per week at Manna’s test site in Offaly.

**Role Purpose** 

The Maintenance Technician – Global Operations Support is responsible for supporting the maintenance and technical readiness of Manna’s aircraft fleet as we scale into new operations sites globally. 

  
You will work closely with maintenance, manufacturing, engineering, flight operations, and local site teams to diagnose aircraft issues, support fault investigations, improve maintenance processes, and ensure consistent standards across all operating locations. 

  
This role is suited to someone with strong hands-on technical ability who can also communicate clearly, support teams remotely, travel internationally when required, and turn real-world maintenance experience into practical procedures, training material, and documentation. 

**What You’ll Be Responsible For** 

-   Providing remote technical support to operations teams across Manna’s global sites. 

-   Travelling to new and existing operations sites globally to support site launch, ramp-up, training, troubleshooting, and maintenance readiness. 

-   Debugging aircraft issues, support equipment issues, and maintenance problems during live operations. 

-   Acting as a technical escalation point for local operations and maintenance teams. 

-   Supporting the launch and ramp-up of new operations sites from a maintenance and technical readiness perspective. 

-   Training local maintenance and operations personnel on aircraft servicing, troubleshooting, inspection, repair procedures, and maintenance standards. 

-   Creating and maintaining maintenance documentation, troubleshooting guides, service reports, work instructions, and training material. 

-   Supporting fault investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for recurring aircraft or support equipment issues. 

-   Working with engineering teams to communicate field issues, reliability trends, and recommended design or process improvements. 

-   Supporting aircraft testing and technical investigations at Manna’s Offaly test site one day per week. 

-   Helping ensure aircraft are maintained in line with approved procedures, technical specifications, and safety standards. 

-   Producing detailed service reports and technical summaries for maintenance, operations, and engineering teams. 

-   Supporting the development of scalable maintenance processes for new markets and operating locations. 

-   Cooperating with cross-functional teams and sharing technical information across the organisation. 

-   Making appropriate recommendations on repairs, diagnostics, maintenance standards, fleet support, and operational readiness improvements. 

**Location & Travel**   
This role is based in Ireland, with remote support for Manna’s global operations sites.   
The role will include one day per week at Manna’s test site in Offaly. Regular international travel will also be required, up to 50% of the time, to support new site launches, operational ramp-ups, training, troubleshooting, and maintenance readiness activities.

## Requirements

**Personal Attributes + Key Qualifications Expected for This Role** 

-   You have experience in a hands-on technical, maintenance, aircraft, drone, robotics, automotive, field engineering, or similar role. 

-   You have strong fault-finding, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. 

-   You are comfortable supporting teams remotely and can guide others through technical issues clearly and calmly. 

-   You have excellent mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, with a willingness to learn new systems quickly. 

-   You are able to create clear technical documentation, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and training material. 

-   You are confident training others and explaining technical information to different audiences. 

-   You are comfortable working across maintenance, operations, engineering, manufacturing, and flight operations teams. 

-   You can work independently, follow procedures, and make sound technical decisions. 

-   You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. 

-   You have strong attention to detail and take pride in keeping aircraft and support systems operating safely and reliably. 

-   You hold a trade, technical, or engineering-related qualification, or have equivalent practical experience. 

-   You have a full clean driver’s licence. 

-   You are flexible and comfortable travelling internationally up to 50% of the time. 

-   You are comfortable supporting global operations across different time zones when required.
