**Java Developer (2+ Years Experience)**

**Location:** Newcastle (5 days onsite or willingness to relocate)

### What You’ll Be Doing:

-   Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Java as your core language
-   Build and support backend services and integrate with SQL databases
-   Apply best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimisation
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
-   Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

### Tech Stack You’ll Be Using:

-   **Languages:** Java (primary), SQL, Python
-   **Frameworks & Tools:** Spring Boot, REST APIs
-   **Cloud:** AWS
-   **Databases:** MySQL, PostgreSQL
-   **Collaboration:** Git, Jira, Confluence

## Requirements

### What We’re Looking For:

-   2+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (commercial experience preferred)
-   Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
-   Experience working with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
-   Exposure to Python for scripting or automation is beneficial
-   Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
-   Experience working in agile development environments
-   Ability to work onsite in Newcastle 5 days a week or relocate
-   A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a desire to continually improve
