### ABOUT THE ROLE

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its advanced minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic intervention services and is seeking a highly skilled **Consultant Interventional Radiologist** to join its growing clinical team. ### ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary clinical environment alongside surgeons, oncologists, nephrologists, vascular specialists, emergency physicians, intensivists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals, supported by advanced imaging technology, interventional suites, and modern procedural infrastructure.

### KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform image-guided vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures using advanced imaging modalities including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and angiography.

• Assess patients, review imaging findings, determine appropriate interventions, obtain informed consent, and manage peri-procedural risks.

• Perform interventional procedures including biopsies, drainages, embolization, angioplasty, stenting, vascular access procedures, and other minimally invasive interventions according to clinical scope.

• Collaborate with surgical teams, oncology, nephrology, emergency medicine, critical care, and other specialties to provide integrated patient care.

• Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards, sterile techniques, procedural documentation, and complication monitoring protocols.

• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, service development initiatives, clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and healthcare governance activities.

## Requirements

• American Board of Radiology with Interventional Radiology Certification

• UK CCT / FRCR with Interventional Radiology Training

• European Board of Interventional Radiology

• Royal College Certification (Canada)

• Arab Board

• MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognized specialist qualification
