### Role Overview

**Duration:** Initial 30‑day engagement (Part‑Time)  
**Start:** ASAP

**Location:** HYBRID in Michigan  
**Extension:** Possible based on project needs and performance

We are seeking a **Senior Consultant** to provide expert support for the **installation of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9** and the application of a **standard architecture** defined by the local Technical Lead Architect. This role will play a key part in supporting a resource leading a VCF 9 installation and **VMware vSphere migration program** for a critical enterprise environment.

The consultant will work onsite with technical stakeholders to ensure the solution is deployed in alignment with architectural standards and VMware best practices.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Support the installation and configuration of **VMware Cloud Foundation 9**
-   Apply and validate the **standard architecture** defined by the local Technical Lead Architect
-   Assist with and support a **VMware vSphere migration program**
-   Provide hands‑on technical guidance and troubleshooting during deployment
-   Collaborate closely with the Technical Lead Architect and onsite teams
-   Ensure implementations align with VMware best practices and enterprise standards
-   Document configurations, decisions, and deployment outcomes as required

## Requirements

### Required Skills & Experience

-   Strong, hands‑on experience with **VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), ideally VCF 9**
-   Deep technical expertise in **VMware vSphere**
-   Proven experience supporting or leading VMware platform installations and migrations
-   Ability to operate effectively in an onsite, enterprise customer environment
-   Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with architects and engineers
