**Position Overview**:

As a **Gastroenterologist**, you will provide expert diagnosis and treatment for patients with gastrointestinal disorders in a dynamic multi-specialty practice setting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

-   Consult with patients to understand their health concerns
-   Perform specialized tests to diagnose patients
-   Determine proper courses of treatment
-   Consult with a patient's primary doctor and other specialists
-   Perform endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs
-   Analyze patient historical data
-   Perform X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning
-   Perform surgery in the digestive tract

## Requirements

**Qualifications**:

-   **Education**: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
-   **Licensure**: Active NY State License
-   **Experience**: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
-   **Technical Skills**: Proficient in diagnostic testing and endoscopic procedures
-   **Soft Skills**: Strong communication, analytical, and patient assessment skills
