## Description

Remote Recruitment is hiring a **Cybersecurity Analyst** for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

-   Monitor security systems and investigate alerts to detect and respond to threats
-   Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on internal systems
-   Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and incident response plans
-   Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and patches
-   Produce regular reports on the security posture and key risk indicators

Requirements

-   3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security or a related role
-   Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel or similar)
-   Knowledge of common frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)
-   Experience with network security, firewalls and endpoint protection
-   Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH or similar) advantageous
