You’ll also help ensure content is accurately captured, labelled, stored and delivered on time, with a strong focus on the customer experience.

This is an opportunity to build your skills across broadcast operations, production support, media management and technical services, while working alongside an experienced and supportive Media team.

**Your Impact**

Based in our Auckland studio, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, 24/7 live broadcast operation. This role offers variety, with shifts across weekdays, weekends and public holidays in line with racing schedules. Shifts are rostered across a 10-day fortnight. Here’s a snapshot of your day:

- Prepare transmission schedules, commercial logs, graphics and media content for playout, ensuring all content is accurate and delivered on time.
- Capture, ingest, label, store and archive domestic and international production material across media servers, databases, archives and FTP systems.
- Coordinate and monitor fibre, satellite and IP circuits, linefeeds, voice-overs and studio content.
- Perform quality control before and during transmission, manage channel branding and sponsor commitments, and switch or mix retail audio channels.
- Liaise with Producers, Directors, Outside Broadcast teams, Production Services and external providers to resolve or escalate technical issues and prepare shift reports.

**What You’ll Bring**

- Experience in broadcasting, media operations, transmission or a related technical environment.
- Strong understanding of broadcast operations and live content delivery.
- Excellent attention to detail when managing audio, video, graphics, schedules and transmission requirements.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure, make timely decisions and meet critical deadlines in a live broadcast environment.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with production teams, service providers and stakeholders.
- A dependable and collaborative approach, with a strong work ethic and willingness to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

**Great to Have**

These are a bonus, so if you don’t have them all, we’d still like to hear from you.

- Knowledge of racing, sports broadcasting or racing media operations.
- Experience using media servers, broadcast scheduling systems, FTP platforms, circuit management systems or other live production tools.
- A qualification in Digital Media, Broadcasting or a related field.

**What You’ll Gain**

You’ll join a connected, high-energy environment where sport, entertainment, collaboration and momentum are part of the everyday.

- **Reward:** Great perks including personal days off and retailer discounts.
- **Growth:** Build your experience across broadcast operations, master control, transmission, media management and technical services.
